Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Lab Services
 
North Bay Histology Lab provides affordable and high-quality immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining services on the following tissue types: reconstructed, human or animal explants and biopsies. We cater to a wide range of clients, including pharmaceutical, medical (dermatologists & clinicians), medical examiners, research and academic. We have extensive experience working with human, mouse and rat tissue among others. All of our IHC stains are done manually by hand to provide consistent and optimal quality. Our ability to provide convenient custom services, with quick turnaround times and quality work, makes us an ideal source for IHC services.
 
Routine & Custom Immunohistochemistry (IHC) services offered:
 
• Direct IHC staining (single label staining - antibody directly coupled to a marker)
• Indirect IHC staining (double label staining - unlabeled primary antibody specifically recognized
  by a marker-labeled secondary antibody)
• Epitope retrieval techniques (pre-treatment with heat and/or proteases)
• Biotinylated and unconjugated secondary antibodies
• Enzyme conjugated secondary antibodies
• Avidin and Streptavidin enzyme conjugates
• Avidin-biotin blocking steps
• Alkaline phosphatase (AP) or horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzymes for antibody visualization
• Hematoxylin counterstaining
• Multiplex chromogenic IHC staining for co-localization studies
 
If your samples require preparation, our immunohistochemistry (IHC) services also include processing, embedding, and sectioning of samples. You may submit your samples in the following forms:
 
• Fresh tissue that requires processing
• Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) blocks
• Unstained slides
 
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Staining Fee Schedule:
 
• Single label staining with in-stock primary antibody (see list below) - $40 per slide
• All other IHC staining services – starting from $55 per slide (please inquire for pricing)
 
Below is our extensive in-house library of available antibodies, each of which has been validated and optimized for immunohistochemical (IHC) staining.
